With deep sorrow, we mourn the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis.
The Global South Anglicans give thanks to God for his life of faithful witness, his humble leadership, and his unwavering commitment to justice, mercy, and compassion. His voice for the poor and the marginalized echoed the heart of Christ, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to our Roman Catholic brothers and sisters around the world.
May the Lord comfort all who grieve, and may Pope Francis rest in eternal peace and rise in glory.
