The GSFA is pleased to organise its first Economic Empowerment Track Planning Conference at St Andrew’s Cathedral, Singapore from 10-14 March 2025. Delegates from 12 different Provinces, and speakers from Uganda, the UK and Singapore will seek to generate a strategy by which the Churches can facilitate individuals and communities to achieve economic self-sufficiency with a focus on areas such as low-cost education, social enterprise, access to business finance and the development of sustainable agriculture.
We are grateful to the Province of South East Asia and the Diocese of Singapore for hosting this conference.
The Primate of South East Asia, the Most Revd Dr Titus Chung, says in his Welcome Message that “Missions and economic empowerment go hand in hand. As part of our diocesan mission efforts in the Diocese of Singapore, we are committed to equipping and empowering indigenous leaders in our missionary deaneries, with the ultimate goal of establishing them as new and healthy dioceses. Likewise, economic empowerment of churches and the nation they are part of is both critical and biblical. A crucial part of this journey is financial self-sufficiency—ensuring that our churches have the resources to sustain and expand their ministries.”
We welcome all delegates to Singapore!
