We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the nation of Myanmar in prayer. For over 70 years, this land has endured the ravages of civil war, and we implore you, O Lord, to intervene and bring an end to this long-standing strife. We pray especially for the current severe arm conflicts that have claimed countless lives and led to the displacement of so many precious souls. May Your mercy and compassion shine upon the people of Myanmar, granting them relief from their suffering.
Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayer.
Lord, we pray for peace and stability to return to Myanmar
Lord, we pray for victims of Cyclone MOCHA and for Your comfort to be with those who mourn the loss of loved ones, and grant them the courage to rebuild their lives. May rehabilitation efforts begin swiftly.
Lord, we pray for Your provision for their needs and grant them the strength to endure these challenging times.
Lord, we pray that the gospel of Jesus will continue to enter into the hearts of the people of Myanmar amidst all these on-going conflicts so that all will have the Peace of God which passes all understanding.
Lord, we pray for leaders and stakeholders to come towards a peaceful resolution, enabling them to work together for the greater good of the nation.
Lord, we pray and seek You earnestly that Your gospel penetrates the hearts of the Myanmar people during these turbulent times. May your light shine in the darkest corners, transforming lives and communities.
Lord, we pray and lift up all the Christian ministers in Myanmar who serve as wounded healers among their flocks. Strengthen them in their ministry and yay they continue to be beacons of hope and of healing amidst the brokenness.
In your word, Lord, we find encouragement:
* Psalm 34:18 - "The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen
