Prayer for Pakistan

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our Christian brothers and sisters who are facing persecution, distress, and violence in Jaranwala, Pakistan. We ask for Your divine intervention, courage, strength, comfort, protection and shalom during this difficult time.

Lord, in Your mercies, hear our prayers

Lord, we pray for the restoration and healing of the Christian community in Jaranwala. We desperately seek and ask for Your strength to sustain them and the courage to persevere in their faith.

Lord, Your Word reminds us in Isaiah 61:1-3:

"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion—to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified."

Lord, we pray for the Christians who have been falsely accused, tortured, and harassed. May Your justice prevail, and may the truth be revealed. In Psalm 34:17-18, it is written:

"When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."

Lord, we ask for peace to reign in Jaranwala and for authorities to ensure the safety of all citizens. Let the recent celebration of Pakistan's independence and freedom remind everyone that all lives are valuable and worthy of protection. In Psalm 91:1-2, Your Word assures us:

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, 'My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'"

Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty and unfailing love fully. May Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard the hearts and minds of our Christian brothers and sisters in Jaranwala. Grant them courage, strength, and unwavering faith as they navigate these challenging times.

In Jesus' mighty, powerful name, we pray. Amen.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
