GSFA Missions Consultation Roundtable 01

The GSFA will be holding its first Missions Consultation Roundtable meeting (MCR 01) from 6-9 May 2025 in Cairo, Egypt. Under the Mission Partnerships Track, this will be the first of a series of MCR meetings to map out the different mission undertakings within our Provinces, and to strategize with our GSFA mission partners how best to meet these needs. The goal is to produce a master blueprint of missions in GSFA. It is our hope that this can also lead to South-South missions initiatives.

The May conference will be attended by missions representatives from each GSFA member Province. The objective is for the representatives to map out the different areas of missions undertakings in their Provinces and the assistance required from mission agencies.

The theme for the MCR is: “Built Together for Missions” (Eph.2:22). Our vision is for the GSFA family to unite and collaborate to fulfill the mission of spreading the Gospel, with the following key emphases:

  1. Unity within the Church: that the GSFA family, regardless of individual gifts or roles, are part of a collective effort to spread the Gospel.
  2. Collaboration among Provinces: that the GSFA family can work together with our mission partners to build a common framework for missions.
  3. Spiritual Growth through Service: that the GSFA family can grow spiritually through the different missions’ platforms.

The second MCR (MCR 02) will be held in Brazil from 27-31 October 2025 where GSFA Mission Partners and the representatives from MCR 01 will come together to share about their mission initiatives and challenges, and to develop a master blueprint which will lead to other missional engagements and initiatives.

We pray that the gathering next month will be a fruitful one.
